Jess, along with her daughter Storm are the landladies at The Shepherd & Crook.
Hospitality has been in Jess's jeans for many moons, in fact 5 generations! Quite ironically this is her fifth pub! When Jess & Storm considered going back into the trade they viewed the Shepherd and Crook and fell in love with it!
The locals were so friendly and supportive and gave them the courage to buy the pub and turn it into our dream home and job.
Storm was born in Jess's previous public house, many avenues, experiences and memories were brought back up and more so recently with the arrival of Storm's baby Harley-May! After nearly 2 years of taking over the Shepherd & Crook they are putting it back on the map!
Jess & Storm's idea is to give customers great food and drink at the best prices they can offer. During these tough times with the pandemic just passed and the energy crisis they understand that not everyone can afford to go out-out.
The girls feel that it's essential for all our mental well-being to maintain a sense of normality, which is why their doors are always open, not just for a pint or a meal but for a coffee and a chat.
